Just a month after our epic release of v3.0, we've packed in even more for the release of Notifier v3.1.
This release primarily focuses on support for social media and chat platforms, with a few other great new features mixed in.
Social Media Support
Notifier can now post automatically to the following social media accounts:
Your blog posts can automatically broadcast to social media when an entry changes from Pending to Live!
Chat Platform Support
In addition to Slack (added in v3.0), Notifier can now also post automatically to Discord channels.
Just like Slack, you must be a moderator of those channels to add the integration.
Reports
We've also added the ability to send System Snapshots, or build your own custom report using Dynamic Data. These reports can be configured to send automatically (on a recurring schedule), or manually (at a time of your choosing).
Very useful for monitoring the health and status of client websites!
Internet of Things
As a bonus, we've also added MQTT support for pinging an IoT device when something happens in Craft. You can also use this to monitor an RSS feed, or some Craft system diagnostics.
So much good stuff!
It's getting harder to pack new and exciting things into Notifier, but we're open to suggestions! If you feel like "something is missing", drop us a note on Github.
